During 2022 we played Croquet at the University, had a garden party in July, went for afternoon tea at Chilwell Golf Course and rounded the year off with a Christmas Party and New Year Karaoke. All this on top of our usual weekly entertainment!
2021
We appreciated the cakes provided by Tesco and the fruit by Hallams.
We are grateful for the invitation from Nottingham Croquet Club to an enjoyable afternoon.
2020
This October Rosemary, Julie and I are taking part in the Memory Walk organised by the Alzheimer’s Society. Alderman White Fundraiser

On Saturday 25th April, members of staff from Alderman White will be off to climb Snowdon in aid of The Beeston Memory Cafe. The cafe is a wonderful safe, friendly place for members of the community suffering with dementia to meet new friends and take part in organised activities. Many thanks to those of you who joined us and the school children for a festive sing-a-long in Tescos, Beeston. Mary and Chris ensured the scene was set with appropriate Christmassy props. An enjoyable time was had by all.
Saturday, 21st September – Friendship Walk
Notts/Derbys Hemlockstone Lions Club organised the walk in support of Beeston Memory Café. The walk in Attenborough Nature Reserve started from St. Mary’s Church, Attenborough between 10 and 11.30 a.m. The distance was 3km/1.9 miles.
On October 24 Anne Barker and Jackie Walker, representatives of the Hemlockstone Lions, presented a cheque for £250.
2018
Saturday, September 15th A Memory Walk was arranged by the Hemlockstone Lions at Attenborough Nature Reserve. £232 was raised.
On Saturday, November 25th we received a cheque for £1964.83 from the Co-op Community Fund.
